Most snowboards are now being built in large overseas factories sometimes years before they hit the market. Glissade is different in that we build every board by hand here in our Northern California Factory. Unlike our competitors who start selling their boards in July, Glissade is still putting the final touches on our latest designs in July. We start building boards in September allowing us to utilize the most recent artist, materials and innovations. Our boards do not sit on the open ocean in containers coming from China. They are baked fresh and ship to you sometimes days out of the press. With almost 20 years of running our own production facility we have created unique processes and materials for snowboard construction.
